Welcome

It was the day of the Easter egg hunt. Feeling tired all day, I secretly hoped the kids forgot about this annual event at the Moody residence. It was already 2:30 and we needed to be there by 3pm. I knew that if we missed the hunt this year, the kids would never let me live this down. I quickly got dressed, threw on sunglasses and told the kids that they were going to get their eggs, then we were going right back home. Once we arrived to the egg hunt, I had a quick chat with India's math teacher, Pam, inquiring about a recent quiz. Little did I know, Pam's fiance, Ellery, saw Pam & I talking. He heard the voice of God saying, "That one is for Rickey." He stressed Pam to contact Terry Moody to make the blind date happen. I figured I would give the blind date a try since I wasn't into internet dating (no offense to the internet daters)... at least somebody knew this guy. And for the first few months of dating, Rickey was affectionately known as  "the blind date guy."

I was living in Arlington, VA and stationed at Fort Belvoir. I recently moved from Texas so I didn't know a lot of people in the area. I would frequently drive down to Chester to visit with my good friend Ellery.  I confided in Ellery about my dating woes and was tired of meeting the wrong women. I wanted the woman that God had for me.  Ellery had news that God spoke to him about a lady at an Easter egg hunt. I thought, "What did I have to lose?"  I decided to give her a call. To my surprise we talked for hours.  I drove down on a Sunday afternoon to meet Ramona at Star Bucks for our first blind date. One cup of coffee turned into many, many more drives down I-95 to Chester.

Should you wish to Honour us with a gift, we hope that this registry will make it more convenient for you to select something that you know we will love. The link to the registry can be found at the top of this page.
Love,
Ramona & Rickey
