Hello everyone! Matt and I have been together for 8 1/2 years!! Long time...I know. We have been through so much together. We first met at a high school party in July of 2000. When I first saw him I felt like I already knew him. We made eye contact but I nervously looked away. I could tell that he was looking at me and wanted to talk to me but his friends were leaving as were mine, and so we parted ways. He asked his friends who I was and they said "Marina". He looked for me and when he found the actual girl "Marina", he was disappointed that it wasn't me. A year went by and by fate we saw each other again after school as we had mutual friends. We kept running into each other and so we finally introduced ourselves and exchanged numbers. After talking for countless hours on the phone, we started to date.
Our first kiss was in August of 2001 outside of my house. It was the most amazing kiss! It was at that point that we started to fall in love. He told me I was his dream girl and asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes! Senior year went by, and I found out I got accepted into UCSB. We were so in love and committed to each other that we maintained a long distance relationship for 4 years. He worked while I went to school. When I returned from college, we found the transition difficult. After some time apart we realized how much in love we were with each other and that we wanted nothing else than to just be together.
He proposed to me on Valentine's Day of 2009 at his home. He got down on one knee and said "Corina Anne Aguirre, will you marry me?" I said, "Yes, of course I will!!!" We are so happy to have found each other, to be together and to start a family together. We hope to make a beautiful home with our own children some day.
Our Wedding will be on Saturday May 15, 2010 at 1:30pm at St. Denis Catholic Community in Diamond Bar. The address is 2151 S. Diamond Bar Blvd. Diamond Bar, CA. Directions are provided in the invitation. Also, when you are traveling down Diamond Bar Blvd. the church will be on your left side, and so turn left on Silver Hawk Rd. The church is on the corner of Diamond Bar Blvd. and Silver Hawk.
The Reception will be at the Double Tree Hotel in Orange from 4pm-11pm. The address is 100 City Drive, Orange, CA. Directions are provided in the invitation. If you would like to stay at the hotel that night please book a room as soon as possible.
The nearest airport is the John Wayne Airport in Irvine, CA.
The nearest hotel, besides the Double Tree Hotel, is the Hilton Suites at 400 N. State College Blvd. Orange, CA.
The nearest attractions are: The Block in the city of Orange and Disneyland in the city of Anaheim.
