We met through a mutual friend over the phone. As our conversations grew longer throughout the next couple of weeks, we decided to meet in person. I lived in Manteca. He lived in Stockton. We started dating for a few months, then we both received summer jobs away from the valley.

I moved to Vallejo and worked in San Francisco. He moved to Weed and worked in Mt. Shasta. We continued dating throughout the holiday season and decided to start the new year together in our own place.

It has now been almost 8 wonderful years that we have spent together. Like most couples, we have gone through our own trials and tribulations which has only made our bond so much stronger. As we become husband and wife, we'll begin to write the next chapters of our lives.
