Now that you've read our story (on the other site) and know pretty much everything there is to know about us, we just thought we'd express how excited we are! Can you believe that we're 3 months away now! Time sure does fly! We are sooo looking forward to our special day and the plans are coming along great! Outside of the frequent reminder from the Mr. about all of the money we could've saved by going to the courthouse (he's such a man :), I'd say we've done pretty good! It's just been crazy because we just realized the other day that...IT'S ALMOST TIME!

So someone reminded me that I hadn't shared all of my "good omen" intentions with you...

From the moment we began to discuss and plan I wanted to do everything possible to ensure that this marriage was strong, everlasting, and favorable in GOD's eyes. My constant prayer has been that we are doing things in the way in which GOD would have them done and that we don't add to the "divorce" statistics. I went so far as to include aspects that I am fond of: astrology and numbers (hey, don't judge me : )

I was determined to have our wedding on July 14, 2012: (7.14.12)

7, (1+4 =) 5, (1+2 =) 3

There are 12 bridal party members plus the bride and the groom

14 total (4+1=)5

If we add the host/hostesses we have a total party of 21

(2+1=)3

The coordinator has been instructed to design the decor using the numbers 3, 5 & 7...why go through all of this? For its significance!

The number 7 is significant for several reasons including:

The 6 days that GOD created the earth and the 7th day that he rested; 7 denotes completion and spiritual perfection; Libra (me) is the 7th sign in the zodiac; September (my birthday) means 7 in Latin...

The number 5 is significant because...

The number of GOD's grace; Divine strength; The number of harmony and balance; The five senses, five fingers, five toes, etc; The number of marriage...

The significance of the number 3

The Holy Trinity: The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit; Past, Present, Future; The number of good fortune; The number for harmony, wisdom and understanding; Symbolizes divine perfection

As you can see a lot of thought has gone into not only ensuring this DAY is special, but also ensuring WE ENDURE. So continue to keep us in your prayers...even AFTER the wedding. : )

We are elated that Pastor Earl A. Caruthers, Sr has blessed us with the opportunity to walk up the aisles of his church. He has been a great counselor and we're looking forward to receiving his (along with GOD himself) blessings!

Ahhhh time to relax, relate, release...on the beaches of Cancun! I don't know whats more exciting...enjoying your company on the wedding day, or enjoying the company of one another on the honeymoon? Hmmm, good thing we're blessed with both *wink*
