Where to begin?! Well, our good friend Cullen introduced the two of us in the summer of 2006. I was 15 and he was 16. We hadn't seen each other face to face yet but we instant messaged each other on the computer every chance we got. (As cheesy as it sounds, I knew he was going to be mine as soon as I saw his screen name!) At the time I wasn't looking for a boyfriend and he wasn't looking for a girlfriend. But the more we talked the more we got to know each other we knew it was going to be something more. We finally decided after a few weeks to go to a movie together. I remember we saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2 in theaters! I guess it wasn't an official date because we weren't an item yet but our little "outing" was a lot of fun and was the first of many! A few days, or maybe a week, after that we started dating and it just got better and better! We started out as high school sweethearts and now were looking to spend the rest of out lives together. I thank God everyday that he brought us together and that he has blessed our relationship ever since! |
