We met at only 17 years old at the restaurant where Jeremy was working called Bridges Fish House. I (Courtney) noticed him right off, and we made eye contact, talked a little, what not. But after several months of the here and there glances, Jeremy texted me one June night in 2007. His message was simple.. "hey, this is Jeremy.." but it spawned a deep conversation that lasted well into the next night. When we decided that just talking wasn't enough, we went to the movies, but then I had to go out of town for two weeks. When I got home, Jeremy met me the very next day and we made things official. He was so nervous when he asked me to be his girlfriend :)

On June 8th, 2010, Jeremy went down on one knee on the edge of an small cliff that overlooks the Pearl River, and he asked me to marry him. No greater, sweeter words have I ever heard.. I didn't even need to think. What we have is as natural as air. It feels right. No one really needs to explain why we need it.. we just know its necessary to survive.

And that small story... well that's only the beginning...

Our wedding will be a simple "old time country" affair at the MS Agricultural and Forestry Museum in Jackson, Mississippi. We're still putting the pieces of that puzzle together, but it will be a simple and sincere ceremony under the eyes of God and surrounded by our family and friends.

Our reception will be a kick-back, relax, yet get-up-and-dance party! Party foods will be served, music will play, and fellowship will take place. Of course we'll have the cake, the decor, the works, but it will be a very Southern affair feel, almost like a huge family reunion. After all, two families are becoming one... why not celebrate that?

We're still ironing all that out, but we are going to Orlando Florida. We're definitely going to fly, and we want to stay at the Portofino Hotel at Universal Studios. We'd love to see the parks, go to CityWalk, but most importantly, be able to rest, relax, and celebrate our life together.

We thank you so much. God has placed favor on Jeremy and on myself, and on our marriage and family to be. To have such great friends and family that support us only shows us a glimpse of what God has in store!
