David & Ava
David and I go a long ways back. I was lucky enough to grow up from kindergarten thru high school graduation with him. The story of us dates all the way back to 3rd grade. We were in the same class and he had a little crush on me. All throughout the year David would bring me presents to school and ask me to be his girlfriend. Everytime I turned him down! As we grew up we always stayed friends and we were always a part of the same big group of friends. We played in band together for the same 8 years- both of us played the clarinet in middle school for a short time! :) In high school the table turned and I started to like David. He on the other hand was interested in someone else. After graduation I moved off to college but we never lost touch. During my freshmen year of college a flower delivery man brought to my dorm room a beautiful bouquet of flowers (including 1/2 dozen red roses), on Valentine's Day of course- from David! Myself being the nieve girl I was, never got the hint from David. Now I think back and say "Duh!" Life went on after that. I had my daughter, David married & had his son. We ended up loosing touch for a few years. Little to my knowledge did David carry around my high school picture still in his wallet & talking to people about me...after all these years. After his marriage had eneded and I had just gotten out of a serious relationship I recieved a call out of nowhere from David. We met up the next time I was visiting at home, to catch up on old times. We started hanging out every time I was home visiting and after a little over a year we started dating. Now a couple years later, here we are! The rest is still to come...
