(…as told by the blushing bride…)
In the fall of 2007, Jason was taking a photography class and needed a model for a project he was working on. He was new to St. Pete, so took to looking around online for someone local. He found my profile on MySpace, liked me, and after a couple of weeks of emails he convinced me to sit for him. It was October 21st when we met up on St. Pete Beach for a sunset photo shoot. (And omg I was so nervous, he was really cute!) We hit it off and decided to meet up again. And again. And again. On July 25th 2008 Jason took me back to the same beach – the same bench, in fact – and set me on a little sunset treasure hunt, digging in the sand with a little toy shovel. I unearthed a little wooden treasure box with our names across the lid, and opened it with unsteady hands to find a diamond engagement ring and sparkly red letters reading “MARRY ME!” He completely took my breath away….

We are so very excited about our big day!! The entirety of the festivities shall be held at the Mirror Lake Lyceum in downtown St. Petersburg on March 13, 2009, at seven o’clock. (Take a peek! http://www.mirrorlakelyceum.net/) Our wedding is going to have a Renaissance flair, so feel free to take part by donning your favorite medieval costumes! After a ceremonial handfasting in the Grand Hall, we will host a cocktail hour in the downstairs lounge followed by dinner, games, and dancing in the Ballroom. It’s going to be great fun…can’t wait to see you there!
