Our Story

Donte & I met April 17th, 2005. It was kind of interesting how we met. That day I had made plans to go on a date with someone else that I had just met earlier that day. We were planning on going to the movies but I didn't want to go by myself so I asked Quan my best friend could she call someone to go with her, so that we could make it a double date. She ended up calling her friend Lee whom she hung out with occasionally. Lee said that he would go but was going to also bring a friend with him. Quan & I instantly started thinking " Why would he bring a friend?, that means he'll be like the 5th wheel!" Usually the fifth wheel is the weird & awkward one but of course in this case I was completely WRONG. Donte- who was the friend a.k.a the fifth wheel, wasn't to keen on coming himself. After talking to Quan we decided that it would be easier if we all kind of just hung out at the house and watched movies. I called up my date and told him the new plans and he was perfectly fine with them. As the night progressed I realized how much I was not interested in my date and i couldn't stop thinking about how attractive Donte was. Fortunately for me, my date had to leave, so i spent the next couple of minutes on the balcony getting to know Donte a little more. Who would have know that four years later we would still be going strong and happy as ever. Now we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together!

Our Wedding

Donte & I aren't having a traditional wedding, we thought that it would be best to exchange vows in a way that represents us. We are having a very small & private ceremony for our immediate family & closest of friends at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

Our Reception

Following the ceremony we will head to The Sundial Restaurant on top of the Westin in Downtown Atlanta. Where we will enjoy a nice romantic dinner, while looking out at Atlanta 73 stories high.

Travel Arrangements

For our honeymoon we will be going to Negril, Jamaica and staying at the RIU all- inclusive hotel and resort for 5 days and 4 nights.

A Special Message From Us

Donte & I would like to thank all of our family & Friends who have been there for us throughout the years. Even though a lot of you can't be there in person on our special day, we know you'll be there in spirit and in our hearts. We look forward to many more years of friendship and love that you all have already given us and we hope that we have made the same impact on your lives as you have ours.
