Our Story
We couldn't think of a better way to explain it than a story included in a letter Krimp sent Dima while he was away at Officer Canidate School.
A Dream is a Wish your Heart makes
Once upon a time there was a girl named Krimp and a boy named Dimitri. Krimp was independent, strong, and smart. She loved children and was constantly doing things for other people. She had been through a lot and longed to find someone who could truly make her feel happy. Dimitri was handsome, loving and happy. He loved to be active and was always on the run. He had been looking for a girl who could be true to him.
They both visited their friend Twazzie, the magical jolly giant. Twazzie knew just what to do. He invited them both over to his burrow and introduced them. The moment they met the giant knew it was love. They played around and joked around for hours. Krimp accidentally cut open Dimitri’s mouth. “Why this young lady has just cut my lip open!!” thought Dimitri. The girl felt horrible and apologized many times. It was from that bloody moment they became best friends.
They enjoyed a summer of fun together. They went jet skiing, swimming, to movies, and dinners. Krimp even brought Dimitri to his first concert. It was from that night on that Krimp began to fall for Dimitri. The last night of summer came and they went to one last concert together.
The night was hot and full of stars. The music was great and the two had an amazing time together laughing, singing, and just being themselves. At the end of the night they finally kissed. They both knew they liked each other but were torn away the following day to continue their journeys of education.
They remained friends for many months and even got to spend some time together. They acted just as they always did, laughing, joking, and just having a fun time together. They both knew they still had strong feelings for each other.
One night Dimitri asked Krimp to join him at a royal ball. Krimp was delighted at the offer. She rushed around all week getting everything she would need to look beautiful. She hoped with all her might that they would end up together again.
The night of the ball they were both happy with joy to be in each other’s company. Dimitri looked so handsome Krimp couldn’t help but smile every time she looked at him. Krimp looked beautiful and Dimitri felt very lucky to be taking such a lovely girl to the ball. They danced all night. When a slow song came on, Dimitri asked if Krimp would join him on the dance floor. As they danced together closer then ever, they both felt happiness and joy. Finally, they kissed again. It was as if everyone in the room had disappeared and just the two them were alone dancing to their own love song. They couldn’t imagine wanting anything more then to be there in that moment. And from that moment on they realized it was finally their time to dance…

We truly enjoy what little time we get to spend together and it will be a fantastic trip for us to just be together.
