Our Story

We are sure that you have heard plenty of versions of how we meet. It is an interesting twist on your normal fairytale story. September 1999 we meet online, yes we said online. We started talk to each other and building a relationship over the phone and through emails.

We remained close and dated from time to time. However, life took us on several paths after our online connection, but our paths converged again when the time was right. Roy took the first step to come to come to Ohio to visit. He continued to come down from time to time to see if things would work out. In 2003 he made the second best decision of his life. He moved to Ohio. Of course the first best decision was when he proposed, Christmas of 2007. Though it was not an easy transition for either party, we both became better people because of it.

We have been thru good and bad times. Tragic times that we never could have imagined. It is these times that have made our relationship stronger.

We are both anticipating saying our vows before our families and God and finally becoming husband and wife.

Our Wedding

Our wedding will be a formal affair. We will have a memorial ceremony for our loved ones that have passed on. We will also be graced with a song. Pastor George Evans will solemnize our ceremony. We will conclude our union with a sand ceremony and a prayer.

Our Reception

Our reception will follow the ceremony starting with a cocktail hour. There will be food served to our guest, while the wedding party goes for pictures.

Since we are both music lovers there will be a variety of genres to listen to. As we both love to entertain and have fun we will also have some adult only games to play.
