We were introduced to each other through Leila and Lisa. Leila is Sandy's daughter, and Lisa is John's daughter-in-law. We met at Starbucks to talk, and talked in the parking lot from 8:45 pm to 3:00 am! It was love at first sight! John told Sandy that she was going to be his, and he meant every word of that. The funny thing is that many people found it hard to believe that it was love at first sight. Now they find it hard to believe that the two have only been together for months, and not years. Once John got permission and approval from Sandy's daughters to marry their Mom, he proposed to Sandy. The main common denominator for the two is that they both love to talk!

The wedding will be at their church, Monumental Baptist Church, Crater Road, in Petersburg, VA, on November 28th, 2009 at 3:00 pm. Once on Interstate 95, take the Wagner Road west exit, keep straight to Crater Road. Make a right at the second stoplight. The church will be about half a mile on your right. This will be a large, formal wedding, with overflow capacity and a big video screen set up in the fellowship hall.
We are also registered at the following stores: macy's Target's, and Bed,Bath and Beyond.

There will be a public reception at the church, Monumental Baptist Church, immediately following the wedding.

The nearest airport is the Richmond international Airport. There are a block of rooms reserved for guests at both the CountryInn and Suites on Wagner road, down the street from the church, and the Hilton Garden Inn,
