Cathy and I met at Sight & Sound Theatre in Branson, Mo. She works as a costumer/dresser and I'm a performer in the shows.
We got to know each other from working alongside each other and going out to group gatherings. Eventually Cathy's interest in me grew and she invited me to go to The Skinny Improv with her and The Big Dill gang. She considers this our first date... I'm not so sure.
A little while later some Sight & Sounder's went as a group and saw Cathy in the show at Shepherd of the Hills. After the show when we met the cast, my niece Amanda took a picture of Cathy and I, and somehow Cathy managed to put her head on my chest for the picture. Uh, Oh...I'm in trouble now I thought.
Not long after that, a new Star Wars movie was showing and I tried to get a group of fellow sci-fi geeks to join me. Oddly enough, the only person to show up was... yup, you guessed it, Cathy! I was tricked! I swear as I was inviting people around work she must have been following me around and giving them an warning not to come.
I'm glad she did though because we have a great time together and we both can't wait to begin our lives together.
