It was a blind date on August 6, 2008, organized by Andie Johnson & Rebbeca Ibarra. We chose to meet at Hungry Hunter in the bar. Andie told me he likes to drink beer, but I was nervous and I was early, so I ordered a scotch and soda. When he got there he asked what I was drinking. Who knew he drank scotch too! We talked for hours and felt so comfortable. It was like meeting your best friend and now we are best friends. We have been Sambones (Swedish for Domestic Partners) for a couple of years now. Al is still working at PCL Ind. and I am disabled due to 2nd time of Breast Cancer (in remission now). We look forward to many more years together.

June 25th @ 2 PM We request your presence to share in our special event. Al Williams & Carrie Johnson will be getting married. Gary Johnson & Phillip Ibarra will be the Best Men & Nicole Miller & Jody Peoples will be the Matrons of Honor. Serenity Peoples is the flower girl. Pastor Max Turner will be officiating the ceremony. My father, Lorenz Johnson will be giving the bride away (he will be 89 yrs old - wow). We will be having the wedding & reception in our backyard. Invitations will be mailed out in April with more information. Child-Alert! Our pool is not fenced & there will be no lifeguard on duty. It will be business casual attire. No high heels required. The tables will be located on the grass & concrete areas. Flowers & favors will be provided by Andie & Loren Johnson. There will be a hosted bar available with choice of alcohol & non alcohol beverages. Arti Dunham & Beverly Bergman will be making a special wedding cake. Parking will be limited on the street, carpooling is recommended. Directions will be provided in the invitations & directional signs on the streets. A reception will immediately follow. It will be a casual finger food buffet provided by Helen Leikem. Music for dancing will be provided by Jody Peoples. Eric Robertson & Danny will be the official photographers.

We are renting a house on the beach for a week in Oceano. We plan Romantic walks on the beach and look for sand dollars along the way. Go to Moro Bay for the day. Maybe take a lunch cruise, go for breakfast at The Breakers, go shopping, get an ice cream cone or salt water taffy or maybe go fishing for half a day. Also we plan to visit Solvang. Wine tasting and shopping are top of the list but who knows maybe go the Casino nearby. Of course no trip to the beach is complete without dining at Rosa's Italian Restaurant in Pismo. Speaking of Pismo, the Quarterdeck has great fish and chips. Whatever we do, it will be special because we are together. The Pismo South Beach RV park is nearby & some people are coming over to continue the celebrating for a couple of days.
