At this stage in our lives, we pretty much have all we need where traditional wedding gift items are concerned, but of course well wishers may still want to get us a wedding gift, but in our case, because we don't need any of the traditional wedding gift items, we know finding the right gift could prove difficult, and cash gifts, while welcome, can feel impersonal for the giver. With this in mind, we have setup a travel gift registry to help us pre-plan our honeymoon trip. This way those who wish to can get us a wedding gift that we truly want, and can choose something much more personal. To make it easy for well wishers to purchase gifts within their individual budgets, we have broken down the cost of all gifts in our registry into $20 fractions, so, for example, if our airfare costs $2,000 we wouldn't expect anyone to buy our full airfare as a wedding gift, but with the $20 fractions, you can give $20 increments towards our airfare, so if you wanted to give $100 towards our airfare, you could purchase a quantity of 5 at $20 each. The number shown as "quantity requested" X $20 is the full cost of the gift, so a gift showing a "quantity requested" of 5 means the full cost of the gift is $100. If you want to get us the complete gift, you simply purchase the full quantity requested. This way one can spend as much, or as little as they want, or one can purchase a portion of several different items if they choose, or can even break down the cost of purchasing a larger gift over several weeks or months.
